Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At PurnOrganic, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase on our Platform, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Nature of Products
PurnOrganic specialises in fresh, perishable, and organic food products including fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy, and related natural goods. Due to the perishable nature of these products, our return and refund window is limited. We strongly encourage buyers to review product details, quantities, and delivery estimates before placing an order.
2. Order Cancellation
- You may cancel an order within 2 hours of placement or before it is dispatched by the seller — whichever is earlier.
- To cancel, visit "My Orders" on the Platform or contact our support team at support@purnorganic.com with your Order ID.
- Once an order has been dispatched or is out for delivery, cancellation is not possible.
- Prepaid orders cancelled within the eligible window will receive a full refund to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
3. Returns & Refunds
We accept return or replacement requests only in the following circumstances:
- The product delivered is damaged or defective (e.g., physically damaged packaging, broken seals)
- The product delivered is significantly different from what was ordered (wrong item, wrong variety)
- The product delivered is expired or past its use-by date at the time of delivery
- There is a quantity shortfall compared to what was ordered and invoiced
All such issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery via email to support@purnorganic.com with your Order ID, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, leafy greens) that has been accepted at delivery without any reported issue
- Perishable dairy products, fresh juices, or similar items where no quality complaint was raised at delivery
- Products that have been partially consumed, altered, or tampered with after delivery
- Items damaged due to improper storage by the buyer after delivery
- Products purchased during clearance, flash sale, or clearly marked "final sale"
5. Refund Process
- Upon receiving your complaint and supporting evidence, our team will review the claim within 2–3 business days.
- If the claim is approved, a refund or replacement will be initiated.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of approval, subject to your bank or payment gateway processing time.
- For COD orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or UPI to your registered account — please allow additional processing time.
6. Failed Transactions
- If your payment was deducted but the order was not confirmed, the amount will be automatically reversed to your payment source within 5–7 business days.
- If the reversal does not reflect within this period, please contact us with your transaction reference number and we will coordinate with the payment gateway on your behalf.
7. Platform Role
PurnOrganic acts as a marketplace facilitating transactions between buyers and sellers. While we endeavour to resolve all disputes fairly, PurnOrganic's liability is limited to its role as a platform intermediary. Seller-specific disputes relating to product quality beyond platform standards may be escalated to the seller directly with PurnOrganic's assistance.
